We present a spatial analysis of the inner region of NGC253 using observations with the IRS. The short-hi (SH) and long-hi (LH) spectra are extracted at three positions on the galaxy. The spectra show a soft radiation field and a low electronic density which is inconsistent with the high pressure of the Interstellar Medium (ISM) being responsible for the observed Neon line ratio.
