A Neodymium isotopic investigation was undertaken in order to determine
the possibility that the Sudbury geological structure in Ontario, Canada
was formed by meteoritic impact. Conclusive evidence points to the
melting of crustal rocks by way of meteoritic impact in the forming of
the Sudbury structure.
