Planets: Venus, Daylight Visibility
Scientific paper
It is not easy to find Venus with the naked eye in broad daylight. Trying to locate a small white point of light in a light blue background without optical aid is extremely difficult. However under ideal conditions, when the sky is a deep blue and Venus is at or near its maximum brilliancy, it should not be too difficult for a skilled observer with good eyesight to spot Venus at midday, with the naked eye.
