Line Broadening:Carbon Monoxide

Pressure broadening parameters of lines belonging to the (1-0) band of CO in collision with N2 or H2 have been measured with a vacuum, high-resolution grating spectrometer. The measurements were carried out in the R branch up to J = 20 at 298 and 195K. The experimental results are compared with values calculated from two semiclassical theoretical models.
