The differential geometry formalism for N = 2 conformal supergravity in
harmonic superspace is developed. The N = 2 superdiffeomorphisms and
local super-Weyl transformations and their BRST-like symmetries are
derived. These lead to the formulation of the cohomology problem and the
N = 2 superconformal anomaly.
