Photometric observations of mutual eclipses and occultations of all four Galilean satellites now cover a period of 25 years, from 1973 up to the present series that has just fin- ished. We anticipate analysing the complete set for possible secular effects when the most recent data have been fully gathered and reduced. In this paper we prefer to focus on the astrometric contribution from mutual event observations by by comparing the extensive data gathered in "event seasons" of 1985 and 1991 with the basic ephemerides, E3 and E5, on a satellite by satellite basis. Results from the mutual phe- nomena show that E5 clearly outperforms its earlier E3 version.
