The MURMEC module was developed to be a reusable unit for different rocket-borne material science experiments. The module is divided into four sections: experiment section, experiment electronics section, interconnection and power board section, and battery case with housekeeping electronics. A short description of the experiments, planned to be performed in the first MURMEC flight is also given.
