We present the results of deep ROSAT HRI observations of the region around the network synthesis position for the soft repeater SGR1900+14. The strongest source in these images has a 0.1-2.4 keV flux of 7 x 10(-13) erg cm(-2) s(-1) . We compare the x-ray image to a 327 MHz VLA image; the x-ray source is outside of the contours of the galactic SNR G42.8+0.6, but may be associated with it. The x-ray source position is consistent with the position of a bright, double IR source which is undetectable in the optical. We present recent millimeter observations of this region by BIMA and discuss the possibility that the SGR, the x-ray source, and the IR source are related.
