The possibility of having a de Sitter asymptotic stage free of choice of the value of the positive cosmological constant (“no critical λ”) is analyzed in a closed FLRW universe which starts from a “quiescent” phase of evolution and ends into a “textured” phase by taking into account multipletSO(n+1) scalar fields.
