As part of observing campaigns for the International Mercury Watch program, Boston University observations were made in June 2006 and May 2007 using telescopes with apertures ranging from 3.6 meters to 0.1 meter. The fields of view spanned 10 arc sec to 8 degrees. High spatial resolution images of high latitude Na source regions were obtained, moderate resolution images of tail lobes and flaring angle, and wide-angle images of a surprisingly long tail.
