We report multiperiodicity in five small-amplitude pulsating red giants: RZ Ari (M6III), V523 Mon (Mb), BC CMi (M4III), UX Lyn (M6III) and FS Com (M5III). For each of these stars, two or three periods stand out in each season of our 5000-day database of V observations, which were obtained with a robotic telescope. The periods are: for RZ Ari, 37 and 56 days; for V523 Mon, 27, 34 and 47 days; for BC CMi, 20, 27 and 42 days; for UX Lyn, 36 and 51 days; and for FS Com, 37 and 54 days. The periods are also present in separate halves of the dataset. The periods, and their ratios, are consistent with low-order radial pulsation modes. The amplitudes of the modes change significantly on time scales of one to five years; specifically, the amplitudes of the dominant periods rise and fall on time scales of 2000 to 3500 days. Most often, the amplitudes of the different modes in a given star rise and fall in unison. This research was supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
