High quality, multifrequency observations of PSR B1822-09 (J1825-0935) at 1.41, 4.75 and 10.55 GHz are presented. The well known properties of this pulsar (interpulse, mode-changing, drifting subpulses) are re-examined within the light of these observations. The pronounced correlation between the main pulse and interpulse intensity is also reflected in the corresponding energy density spectra of the pulsar. Furthermore, we detect the microstructure in the main pulse emission and demonstrate that it has clearly different time scales for the leading and the trailing component.
