We present the results of the UBVRI photometry of the old (tau=17.3 Myr) radio pulsar PSR B0950+08 obtained with the FORS1 at the VLT UT1. We detected a faint point-like object, B=27.06+/-0.35, V=27.05+/-0.15, Rc=26.49+/-0.10, Ic=26.20+/-0.17 coinciding with the radio pulsar by position with the accuracy better than 0.12". The broadband spectrum of PSR B0950+08 cannot be explained by the thermal radiation from the surface of the neutron star. It can be fitted by a single power law with the spectral index 0.65+/-0.40, revealing nonthermal origin of the detected optical emission.
