Heat Flow In Multiphase Systems, Analytical And Numerical Techniques

This paper describes the last investigations of Loop Heat Pipes (LHPs) with branched configuration, i.e. LHPs with two, three and more Evaporators. These investigations were begun by development of ``Push-Pull'' LHP-LHP with two Evaporators. Successful performance of ``Push-Pull'' LHP proved the theoretical proposition that LHP with several Evaporators and arbitrary number of Condensers can be developed (Goncharov, 1998). Theoretical ground of the development of LHP with several Evaporators is presented here below. Each Evaporator is supplied with Compensation Chamber and can be placed at arbitrary distance from the other Evaporator in gravity conditions, heat power of arbitrary value can be applied to LHP Evaporators and each LHP Evaporator can even function as Condenser. .
