Trojan-type orbits are investigated in the system with a variable mass ratio of the components within the framework of the restricted circular three-body problem. For the negligible mass change during a single libration period the increase of the relative mass μ of the smaller component beyond a certain limit leads to the end of the librations and to the entry of the librator into Hill's sphere of this component. This limit is lower than the critical value μ* = 0.0385 determining the stable equilibrium and depends only on the initial displacement from the libration point. The region of the conditional stability of the libration motion with different mass ratios is established by a numerical method. The results are applied to estimate the hypothesis of Trojans' origin as past satellites of Jupiter.
