The possibility of the occurrence of Pi1C pulsations under quiet magnetosphere conditions is assessd on the basis of data from five high-latitude stations (Phi = 63-77 deg). It is shown that, under these conditions, Pi1c pulsations are observed only at Phi = 77 deg at near-noon hours, and their occurrence is connected with the By component of the IMF and field-aligned currents in the cusp.
