The morphological characteristics of lunar craters with depth/diameter
ratios between 0.08 and 0.12 are discussed. Of the more than 250 craters
with moderate depth/diameter ratios considered, it is observed that most
are either small in diameter presenting considerable signs of
degradation, or large young craters.
