We present preliminary images from VLA observations of straight-tailed radio sources at 1.5 and 4.8 GHz. These are the first images of a set which will examine 8 straight-angle tail (SAT) radio galaxies at 1 arcsecond resolution in order to better understand their place in the FRI/II classification. SATs are classified as FRI sources based upon their luminosity, but some appear to display FRII morphology. The goal of this study is ultimately to build a data set which will make it possible to determine whether the physical processes in SATs are similar to those in FRI sources, FRII sources, or whether they represent a bridge between the two classes. This work is supported in part by NASA LaSPACE grant number R122282.
