Astrometry: Gps, Total Electron Content (Tec)
Scientific paper
GPS can monitor the variation of the Total Electron Content (TEC) with a high precision, which is importantly significant to correct the ionospheric delay for single-frequent GPS receivers, to monitor the activity of ionosphere and to reveal active rule of the Sun. The establishment of the Shanghai integration GPS network provides valuable data for monitoring the real-time ionospheric variation of the Yangtse Rive delta region. The extrapolated precise in 30 minutes and the internal and external precise of TEC from Grid Ionospheric Models are all smaller than 0.4m.
