The paper reports on CO(J = 1-0) high-velocity wing emission toward two young objects of the Serpens molecular cloud, FIRS 1 and SVS 4. These observations were carried out with the 45-m telescope of the Nobeyama Radio Observatory. Different kinds of CO wing profiles found toward these two regions suggest that the previously reported extended (not less than 6 arcmin) molecular outflow in the region is the result of perturbations on the ambient molecular gas by local outflows associated with various young objects.
