High-resolution CO J = 2-1 and J = 1-0 emission from three young planetary nebulae (NGC 2346, M 2-9, and NGC 6720, which is the Ring Nebula in Lyra) was observed by the IRAM 30-m dish at Pico Veleta (near Granada, Spain). The CO J = 2-1 and J = 1-0 lines were observed simultaneously by using two SIS mixers with SSB noise receiver temperatures of 250 K and 180 K. A high-resolution emission map of the Ring Nebula shows that the emission extends over a region of 100 x 80 arcsec, indicating that the molecular mass of this nebula is 0.1 solar mass (i.e., much higher than values estimated before).
