The experimental design method is used to perform a numerical experiment to study the basic mechanism of the formation and evolution of the frontal cloud cover on Jupiter. Particular relationships are obtained between some cloud macroparameters (e.g., time of cloud appearance and concentrations of water and ammonia in clouds) and several basic atmospheric factors, namely, the velocity of vertical motion, two wind velocities, the turbulent diffusion coefficient, and the content of the constituents. The Protod'iakonov generalized formula is used for quickly estimating these parameters in the assumed interval of atmospheric factor variations. The calculations are optimized on the basis of a six-factor planning matrix.
