The results obtained in this study are mainly in agreement with other studies. However, the variations of dinitrogenpentoxide N2O5 and chlorine nitrate ClONO2 are significantly lower at all altitudes due to the absorption of solar radiation by the upper ozone layers. A review of numerical methods in common usage for modeling the minor constituents of the stratosphere is presented. The model of diurnal variations may be used to recompute diurnal mean values as the process evolves in the case of long-term calculations.
