This research continues our studies of EHB (Extreme Horizontal Branch) binary progenitors. The progenitor system is assumed to fill in its Roche lobe near the tip of the RGB. It was found that considerable shrinkage of the orbit can be achieved due to combined effect of angular momentum loss and accretion onto its low mass companion on the hydrodynamic timescale. Here we present ranges of initial parameters of the progenitor system for which formation of a close binary EHB object is possible. We analyze factors that influence the probability of such formation.
