We study models with Goldstone bosons (“triplet”-Majorons, familons and Majorons with singlet Higgs fields) accomodating the 17 KeV neutrino reported by Simpson. We consider the possibility of Dirac and Majorana neutrinos. In both cases all phenomenological bounds, includin that coming from “standard” galaxy formation models, are satisfied.
