Flux-constant model atmospheres were calculated for Sirius (A1 V) and Procyon (F5 IV-V). The computer program MARCS was used to compute the models which include both convection and line blanketing effects. Results for Sirius indicate that a model with effective temperature 10100 K, logarithm of the gravity equal to 4.30, and logarithm of the ratio of metal to hydrogen abundance relative to the sun of +0.50--abbreviated as (10100,4.30,+0.50)--shows excellent agreement with the observed energy distribution for the range lambda 2600. The Procyon model (6560,4.00,0.00) exhibits good agreement for lambda 3000. Other spectral details display similar good agreement for both models. Because of this good agreement the models derived give a more realistic representation of the atmospheres of these stars than has previously been obtained.
