This paper presents two industrial tools for vibration tests. First, the automatic test comparison is described : it allows to compare two measurement sets coming from two different tests, in order to identify non-linearities, frequency shifts or set-up problems. Measurement points with large discrepancies are immediately identified, whatever is the number of analyzed channels. The notching technique is then presented. The aim is to establish a test specification taking into account response level limits to avoid specimen over-testing. Two methods are described: direct limitation of levels and global limitation on the entire frequency band. These tools are implemented in the DynaWorks software and were developed in association with ESA- ESTEC.
