Measurements of the transverse coherence length, isoplanatic angle, and/or turbulence structure constant profile may be required in atmospheric propagation tests in support of electrooptics system development. In order to address these needs, a versatile Mobile Atmospheric Profiling System (MAPS) system has been developed; field tests are currently being conducted. Attention is presently given to the MAPS in question, which incorporates a Fourier transform sepctrometer, turbulence profile sensors, and an 0.8-m Coude telescope. Samples of recently acquired data for this instrument are presented.
