Some 52,000 visual observations of seven Mira stars, observed for between 10 and 74 years, are analysed, and the results are compared with catalogue data. A number of interesting correlations are found among features in the light curves. S Cep and U Cyg are found to vary slowly in their mean brightness, while R Cam, T Cep and U Cyg vary slowly in amplitude. The mean period of T Cep is confirmed to show evidence of variation, but those of R Cam and U Cyg are not found to vary.
