The consequences of the confinement phase transition in the early Universe are studied in the Friedmann model. The bag equation of state for the quark-gluon phase taking into account the existence of metastable states is used to demonstrate the possibility of accelerated expansion of the Universe. The parameters of this "mini-inflation" are determined using the criterion for the metastability of the quark-gluon plasma obtained earlier.
