Milanković's scope is rather vast. In addition to the main works wherein the results of his scientific research were presented, he wrote several books on history of science, as well as the voluminous work. "Uspomene, doživljaji i saznanja" ("Memories, experiences, insights"), in which he showed himself not only as an excellent historian of science, but also as a thinker stating a number of philosophical problems and endeavouring to offer corresponding syntheses of his thinkings, syntheses of the contemporaneous knowledge, a picture of the world and a future vision.
