Minor Planets, Mid-Ir Observations
Scientific paper
Thermal observations in Mid-IR wavelength allow us to derive both of
size and albedo of minor bodies in the solar system. Well-studied
asteroids have been used extensively as calibration sources for the
infrared satellites and are planned to be used by future ground-based,
airborne and space-based projects in the thermal infrared.
