Photoelectric observations show that the light of the normal main-sequence star HD 21479 is microvariable. The fluctuations are polyharmonic, with periods ranging from 16 to 147 min. Individual harmonics can be identified with the gl1, f and p1-p4 nonradial pulsation modes of the star, as described by spherical harmonics of order l = 2.
