Single-side NMR is particularly suitable for measurements of microscopic properties of arbitrary large samples. Various pulses sequences based on the spin echoes are able to refocus and eliminate the contribution of the linear spin interactions. The longitudinal, T1 and transverse, T2, times can be correlated with the macroscopic properties of elastomers like: sulfur accelerator (phr) content, shear modulus, for a series of cross-linked natural rubber bands.
