This project involved the calculation of the trajectory of the newly acquired microbeam located at the Acadiana Research Lab at UL Lafayette. These calculations were only the beginning to aligning the beam and producing expected beam sizes of 1micron. Other tasks included calibration of the slitboxes and alignment of the quadrupoles. The process of aligning the quadrupoles and current research projects using the microbeam will be introduced. A current application of the beam is to determine whether or not various magnetic rocks are `micrometeorites'. The complex matrix equations that describe the trajectory of the beam will also be discussed.
