The present study discusses the effects of magnetic field and mass transfer on the flow of an elasto-viscous fluid past an infinite vertical plate, when the plate is moving with uniform velocity. The magnetic lines of force are assumed to be fixed relative to the plate. The Laplace transform method is used to obtain the expression for velocity. The effects of various parameters occurring in the problem are discussed with the aid of tables.
