An account is given of the Focal Plane Characterization Chamber (FPCC) used to furnish complete radiometric characterizations of IR focal-plane arrays, giving attention to the FPCC's versatility. All radiometric performance specifications were evaluated with relatively minor hardware and software modifications. Testing throughput has been greatly enhanced via the FPCC's injection system, which allowed arrays to be installed and removed while maintaining test conditions.
