Solar radiation fluxes of the chromospheric flare of May 23, 1967 are
determined by minimization of the root-mean-square deviation. Apart from
the flux determination, this technique makes it possible to determine
the accuracy of the results. It is found that the accuracy obtained with
the proposed method is of a factor of 2 to 4.
