The seasonal variation in the daily dawn maximum influx of radar meteors
is compared with the dawn occurrence of ionized irregularities in the
earth's upper atmosphere. Results of a long series of data covering 37
years of ionospheric soundings and 4 years of meteor influx are used in
seeking a relation between the two phenomena.
