We present BVRI photometry and optical spectroscopy for a number of late-type stars associated with ROSAT PSPC X-ray sources in the region of the young cluster IC 2602 (age ~ 30 Myr). These photometric and spectroscopic data are used to refine the membership and evolutionary status of these stars as first reported in Randich et al. (1995, A&A, 300, 134). We also report rotation periods (ranging from 0.20 to 4.5 days) for 9 K-type cluster members derived from a time-series photometry monitoring program. These rotation periods are used in combination with the ROSAT data and data from other young clusters (IC 2391, alpha Per, the Pleiades, and the Hyades) to examine the relation between rotation, coronal activity, and age for young, magnetically saturated stars.
