It is shown that the de-excitation of convection elements in accretion
disks considerably reduces convective energy transfer. The energy
transferred by floating-up magnetic field tubes is also small.
Therefore, radiative transfer is the main mechanism of energy transfer.
It is concluded that hot coronae cannot exist around accretion disks.
