A series of thin, electroformed plates are to be used in the implementation of the mechanical collimator for limiting the field-of-view of the EUV/FUV Imaging Spectrograph Facility. Attention is presently given to computational results for the plate number and positions of the Facility, as well as to a procedure for testing the instrument using visible light which will assess the field of view and transparency of its mechanical collimator. Mechanical collimator transparency may be reduced by shadowing effects due to differences in plate mechanical reference holes.
