The monochromatic flux from Vega is measured at several wavelengths in the near-IR to measure the color between 8090 and 10,400 A and to obtain a flux calibration with an accuracy approaching 1%. Copper freezing-point blackbodies were used as standard sources and were compared to Vega with a double-pass photoelectric spectrophotometer mounted on 12 and 60-inch telescopes. Horizontal and vertical extinction coefficients are calculated, and various sources of error are identified. A value of -0.158 mag is obtained for the color between 8090 and 10,400 A across the Paschen discontinuity, which is believed to be accurate to better than 1%, and a flux calibration is derived which is accurate to about 2%.
