Measurements of the degree of Comptonization of the cosmic microwave background radiation toward the cluster of galaxies A2218 have been carried out. Using available deep radio maps at several frequencies, scans and beam-switching techniques were chosen so as to avoid weak sources in the reference beams. A diminution of about 0.6 + or - 0.2 mK seems to have been detected, a level consistent with previous measurements.
