We present the seeing estimates obtained with the ESO differential image motion monitor (DIMM) at Mount Maidanak from August 7, 1996, through September 21, 1997. The median value of beta_atm, the full width at half maximum of a long-exposure stellar image at zenith at lambda = 500 nm, for the entire period of observations is 0.70 arcsec. For the La Silla and Paranal Observatories, this parameter is 0.87 arcsec and 0.66 arcsec, respectively. We compare our estimates with seeing measurements carried out at Mount Maidanak by other methods.
