To check the existence of superdense nucleus-like self-confined cosmic objects (pion stars) in the case of a highly hard equation of state (∂P/∂ρ = 1) the authors have calculated the maximum values of their masses for various densities at the surface. For such configurations the values of the radius and the relativistic moment of inertia are also calculated.
