A new approach for the simultaneous determination of the distance and kinematic parameters as well as their dispersions in a moving cluster is applied to the Pleiades cluster. We have found that the distance of the cluster is d = 135.56 +/- 0.72 pc with a dispersion sigma(d) = 7.66 +/- 0.80 pc. Its space velocity V = 25.94 +/- 0.13 km/s with a dispersion of 0.58 +/- 0.09 km/s. The coordinates of the convergent point are (A, D) = (101.95 +/- 0.47 deg, -41.36 +/- 0.29 deg).
