The present work gives results identical to those obtained by Milne and McCrea (1934), only applied with Vlasov's instead of Euler's equation. That is, it is and was shown that the essential features of the relativistic cosmology of Friedmann are derivable from a Newtonian analysis by the introduction of some cosmological hypothesis (with Milne and McCrea, homogeneity of the mass distribution in all space, Hubble's field of macroscopic velocity). Only one hypothesis is required here: entropy is assumed to be maximal in all points. It is proven that this leads to a homogeneous mass distribution with the Hubble velocity field.
