Using the brick wall model we consider the thermodynamic functions of massless scalar and neutrino fields on the de Sitter universe background. The universal expression of the matter entropy within any region is obtained, which is different from that of black-hole backgrounds in the relation between scalar and neutrino fields. Especially, we find that matter fields within a thin region near the cosmological horizon capture more the universe characteristics than those within any other region.
