A formal description of errors in the acquisition of trajectory data on
moving objects from space platforms is presented. Mathematical models
are proposed for errors in the data acquisition due to the positioning
of the acquisition instruments on a vibrating and deformable platform
moving three-dimensionally. A classification of such errors is given.
